involved in bridal gowns usually means that some gowns can be
quite expensive. We understand that you may not want to take out
a second mortgage to pay for your wedding day and we have

will secure any dress, meaning you can sort the most important
thing out straight away and be free to organize everything else

It's All In The Timing
We advise bridal customers to start looking for the wedding
gown & bridesmaids dresses 9 to 12 months before the wedding
date. Ordered gowns can take 12 to 16 weeks to be delivered and
a further 4 to 8 weeks is sometimes needed for alterations,
although this is not always the case and we do hold a selection
of off the rail gowns which are available immediately.
The Great Debate
When considering hiring vs. buying, there are a few things
you should be aware of. To get the perfect fit, you will need
the dress altered to your exact size. On a hired dress,
alterations are not possible and the dress will not fit you
perfectly. You will also need to leave a large deposit
when hiring. The deposit you will need to leave will depend on
the value of the dress, but will always run into the hundreds.
The big downside is that should the dress end up with any kind
of damage, you are likely to forfeit your deposit and when you
consider that with the cost of hiring the dress in the first
place if anything goes wrong you may have been better off buying
a new dress that only you have ever worn and that you can keep
forever.

the one-to-one service you deserve, we recommend making a no
obligation appointment where your requirements can be discussed
at length. We recommend that you don’t invite a large group to
help you choose your dress, as many different opinions can cause
confusion, but just bring one or two people whose opinions you
value the most. This can take some time and we recommend you
don’t bring young children with you as they are easily bored. If
for any reason you can't make it or you are running late, please

We work closely with local associates to provide you with a
complete package including Photography, Wedding Cakes, Wedding
Stationary, Menswear Hire, Wedding Flowers and more. You don't
have to use them if you don't want to, but just in case, we've
found the pick of the bunch.
Buckets and Spades
If you are travelling to see us, why not combine your gown
search with a day by the sea. Skegness is a great place to
visit, with all it's seaside attractions and amusements. Once
you've chosen your gown, you can fit in lunch at the cafe next
door then head off to the beach. You'll find ample free parking
and a nice relaxed atmosphere.
A Risky Business
A genuine word of warning for anyone considering a Bridal
Purchase from the internet. All reputable Wedding Gown suppliers
prohibit online sales, so the chances are that the gown you
receive will be a cheap copy. Even if you try on a gown in a
bridal boutique that looks similar to E-bay's finest, be aware
that the quality & fit of the actual dress you will get from the
internet will not be the same. There really is no substitute for
trying on the dress you are going to buy. We have seen too many
brides whose dream has turned to dust when either a poor quality
